As a long time Late Night with David Letterman fan, I will never forget those zany interviews where Larry ‘Bud’ Melman often held the microphone in front of his own mouth while his subject spoke, and then reversed the position when he spoke.

Here’s my all time favorite… Larry ‘Bud’ Melman handing out hot towels at the Port Authority Bus Terminal. Calvert DeForest RIP.
